On January 11th, Director Luo Ping and his delegation from the Department of Science and Technology of Anhui Province visited Anhui Fuqing Medical Group Co., Ltd. for research and guidance. Professor Qiu Bensheng, the chief scientist of Fuqing Medical, and General Manager Zhou Yufu, along with the company's leaders, warmly welcomed the visit.
Director Luo visited products such as CLIMBER035 permanent magnet magnetic resonance system, CLIMBER148 superconducting magnetic resonance system, CLIMBER150 liquid helium free superconducting magnetic resonance system, 7T ultra-high field scientific research magnetic resonance system, discrete intraoperative magnetic resonance system, lung magnetic resonance system, and cardiovascular interventional magnetic resonance system. During the visit, Director Luo had in-depth exchanges with Professor Qiu Bensheng and R&D personnel to understand the technical characteristics and application fields of different types of equipment such as precision physical examination and precision treatment. He fully affirmed the technological precipitation and achievement transformation speed of Fuqing Medical.
At the symposium, Professor Qiu Bensheng first warmly welcomed Director Luo's visit to Fuqing Medical, and then gave a detailed report on the background, research direction, and transformation achievements of the establishment of a provincial engineering laboratory for magnetic resonance guided precision therapy. After listening to the report, Director Luo pointed out that Fuqing Medical has a unique advantage in relying on the academic platform of the University of Science and Technology. The following two points need to be done well: first, to make good use of the significant advantages of the platform and Hefei Venture Capital to provide a solid foundation for the rapid transformation of scientific research results; second, to strengthen communication and exchange with the government, and the two work together to promote the landing of high-quality scientific research results, achieving a leap from laboratory projects to clinical applications. Director Luo stated that the Provincial Department of Science and Technology will, in accordance with the deployment requirements of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, continue to strengthen the joint construction and joint research of achievement transformation platforms with enterprises in various cities throughout the province, break down institutional barriers to scientific and technological innovation development, and create an innovation ecosystem where people fully utilize their talents and vitality bursts.
