On November 10, 2023, in order to test the achievements of medical assistance and summarize the experience of assistance, the China University of Science and Technology Medical Assistance Vehicle Magnetic Resonance Guizhou Tour Phase Results Report and Summary Commendation Conference was held at the Liuzhi Special Economic Zone Productivity Development Center. Leaders of the Liuzhi Special Economic Zone Government, the Special Economic Zone Health Bureau, the Second People's Hospital of Liupanshui City, the Special Economic Zone People's Hospital, the Special Economic Zone Township and Township Health Centers, and Fuqing Medical attended the meeting online. The designated assistance work leadership group of China University of Science and Technology and relevant leaders of technical support units attended the meeting.

Director He Haohua delivered a speech stating that in the process of achieving rural revitalization, healthy rural areas are one of the essential links. The medical assistance carried out in Liuzhi Special Zone has accumulated valuable experience for the future assistance work of the University of Science and Technology. In the future, China University of Science and Technology will use the Six Branches as a model to further strengthen medical assistance efforts, continuously summarize experience in practice, and provide scientific and technological solutions for grassroots medical assistance.
Professor Qiu Bensheng stated in his speech that medical imaging is the first line of defense against grassroots diseases. As a technical support platform for this event, the Biomedical Engineering Center will continue to deepen the early screening and diagnosis of major diseases such as tumors and stroke, providing more comprehensive solutions for grassroots critical diseases.

Subsequently, Director Liu Xiaojun gave a brief report on the stage achievements of this medical assistance activity. He stated that through this free clinic inspection, not only valuable data was accumulated for subsequent follow-up diagnosis and treatment, but also critical cases were discovered on site and promptly referred, truly realizing the protection of health.

Subsequently, the conference commended the individuals who made outstanding contributions in this free clinic activity, thanking them for their contributions to promoting the development of regional medical and health levels.

Finally, District Mayor Li Zhijun delivered a concluding speech, expressing sincere welcome and gratitude to the assistance activities provided by the University of Science and Technology of China, and stating that the medical assistance brought by the University of Science and Technology of China this time is a tangible measure that benefits the people and effectively promotes the development of regional medical and health levels. One month after the medical assistance activity in Yanzihe Town, Jinzhai County, the mobile magnetic resonance diagnosis and treatment vehicle set off again on October 17th, departing from Hefei, passing through the four provinces of Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, and Guizhou, and arriving at Liuzhi Special Zone in Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province. A 17 day medical assistance activity was carried out here, and fruitful results were achieved.

On the afternoon of October 26th, Shu Gequn, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University of Science and Technology of China, visited the scene of the medical assistance activity in Xinyao Town, Liuzhi Special Zone, and expressed sincere condolences to the members of the working group. Through conversations with Secretary Shu Gequn, he gained a deeper understanding of the progress of the activity and the general health status of the local people, and expressed his expectations for the final results of the assistance.

This free clinic covers multiple areas in Liupanshui City, including the Second People's Hospital, Xinyao Town, Langdai Town, Mugang Town, Luobie Township, and Yanjiao Town. The screening projects cover six items, including stroke risk assessment questionnaire, biochemical examination, cranial MR examination, metabolite testing, and genetic screening. The activity has benefited more than 650 people, including:
654 cases were screened for cranial MRI, and 481 cases were positive in cranial examination (including cerebral white matter ischemia, age-related brain changes, multiple lacunar lesions, etc.), with a positive detection rate of 73.54%; 173 cases (including sinusitis) showed no obvious abnormalities in the intracranial area, accounting for 26.45%.

A stroke risk assessment survey was conducted on 654 individuals, including 157 high-risk individuals, accounting for 24%, 144 medium risk individuals, accounting for 22%, and 353 low-risk individuals, accounting for 54%.

633 people participated in biochemical tests, with an age range of 24-90 years and an average age of (61.84 ± 10.27) years; Among them, 177 males (63.68 ± 9.33) years old and 456 females (61.12 ± 10.53) years old; Age distribution: 24-29 years old (1 person), 30-39 years old (6 people), 40-49 years old (71 people), 50-59 years old (183 people), 60-69 years old (220 people), 70-79 years old (130 people), 80-90 years old (22 people).
