In order to deepen the work of medical assistance and the construction work of the village of the university of science and technology of China (hereinafter refer as USTC).  The activity, 'medical assistance of USTC with MRI mobile car'  is organized by USTC and the government of Jinzhai county, jointly led by the first affiliated hospital of USTC,  poverty assistance group office, health commission of Jinzhai county, the rural area revitalization bureau and the other unit, has been officially started at Longma village, JInzhai county.

The launch ceremony was held at the New Era Civilization Practice Station Square in Longma Village. Zhu Yu, a member of the Party Group and Deputy County Mayor of the People's Government of Jinzhai County, Li Chu, a member of the Party Committee and Minister of Party Committee Organization of the First Affiliated Hospital of USTC, Jin Changjiang, Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the school hospital, Professor Qiu Bensheng, Director of the Medical Engineering Center and Medical Imaging Center, Liu Ying, Deputy Director of the Imaging Department of the First Affiliated Hospital, and leaders and experts from units such as Jinzhai County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Yanzihe Town attended the event, He Haohua, Director of the Office of the Leading Group for Designated Assistance Work at USTC, presided over the launch ceremony.

She pointed out that this free clinic activity with MRI mobile car in rural areas allows people to enjoy advanced medical equipment diagnosis services conveniently, which is an important measure for USTC to benefit grassroots people in rural areas with high-quality medical resources. She hopes that the County Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Yanzihe Town Central Health Center will cooperate in providing good services while firmly seizing the opportunity for cooperation, fully utilizing the better medical resources of USTC, continuously improving the level of grassroots medical technology and comprehensive service capabilities, and better meeting the growing medical and health service needs of the people in the rural areas.

Qiu Bensheng introduced in his speech that the expert team of the Medical Engineering Center of China University of Science and Technology has been exploring how to achieve early detection and diagnosis of serious diseases. They have independently developed MRI equipment and I-cloud platform with independent intellectual property rights, forming an mobile MRI solution. They hope to provide villagers in the mountains with advanced medical examination services without leaving their homes. Finally, the guests jointly stepped onto the stage and pressed the fingerprint, which forecasting the complete success of the event, marking the official launch for the activity, the disease screening with mobile MRI car.

The mobile magnetic resonance diagnosis and treatment car CLIMBER035M deployed to Longma Village this time is developed by the Precision Medical Equipment Technology Research Center of the Advanced Research Institute of USTC (Fuqing Medical). The vehicle is 16m in length and has significant advantages such as efficiency, speed, and strong mobility. It can be stationed at the grassroots level for a long time or regularly inspected in remote areas. The mature and complete design enables it to maintain normal operation under various extreme weather conditions, with strong stability.

The car is equipped with magnetic resonance imaging system, I-CLOUD system, portable B ultrasound and other routine physical examination instruments, which can realize the MRI screening of breast cancer, brain disease, stroke, joints and other parts. In addition, customized services are also provided, and various types of physical examination instruments can be selected according to different needs.

This free clinic activity will focus on Longma Village and surrounding villages. It is planned to complete 500 breast and stroke screening cases within four weeks.

In the activity, USTC and the Precision Medical Equipment Technology Research Center of the Advanced Technology Research Institute of the University of Science and Technology of China (Fuqing Medical) serve as technical support, always cooperating with advantageous medical resources such as the First Affiliated Hospital of USTC and the hospital of USTC, gradually deepening medical assistance, and contributing to the consolidation of the achievements of poverty alleviation and the realization of rural revitalization. Subsequently, the mobile MRI car will be transported to the designated assistance area of USTC, Liuzhi Special District, Guizhou Province, to carry out rural free clinics.
